(Number 11:5) They griped about being hungry AND about the LORD’s provision of Manna and Quail in the wilderness.(Ex.16) They grumbled against God, Moses, and Aaron even when they were about to enter the promised land, “”If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness! 3Why is the Lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.” This murmuring sparked God’s anger and brought severe consequences:

We don’t believe that our QUERULOUS attitude and speech will bring repercussions, even to our children, but it does. We think we’re just sounding off, but a constant diet of negativity repels bosses, spouses and friends… and it disgusts the LORD. I wonder if He asks, “How long will (insert your name here) grumble and complain against Me?” Are you missing out on God’s promises because you’re querulous?
